TRINITY DANCE COMPANY TDC is a faith supported, 501(c)3 organization open to any Christian dancer regardless of Church affiliation. We desire to present programs that strive toward quality and excellence pleasing to the Lord. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. Call 817-431-2842 for performance schedule. Trinity Dance Company's performing season runs from August to June. Each year a new ballet is offered from our repertoire including 'New Songs of David', 'Symphony of Grace', 'Canticles of Angels and Saints', 'This Sunday Morning' and 'Lord of the Dance'.
MORE THAN THE NUTCRACKER Trinity Dance Company's interpretation of the classic tale returns to the source material, "The Nutcracker and the Rat King", by E.T.A. Hoffmann. In the original story, the children stay up late to catch a glimpse of the Christ Child. In "More Than The Nutcracker", Marie and her friends become wrapped up in the commercial aspects of the Holiday Season. An Angel reminds Marie of the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus. In scenes reminiscent of the three Kings, the dancers present gifts and dance to the Christ Child. This ballet will be performed at Keller Holly Days, Christ Haven Children's Home in Keller, Six Flags Park, Malls and various nursing facilities in the area . "More Than The Nutcracker" includes a cast of 53 dancers and is 55 minutes in length, danced to the soaring music of Tchaikovsky with additional music by Michael W. Smith. All performances are presented by TDC free of charge as the company brings the gift of dance to the community (love offerings are always greatly appreciated.)
THE VOICE OF CHRISTMAS This 30 minute ballet is a joyful celebration of the birth of our Savior using Christmas music from artists such as Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith and Mannheim Steamroller. As the angels, shepherds and wise men gathered in the stable, so do we come and worship our Lord. Psalm 149:1 commands us to "Sing to the Lord a new song...and praise His name with dancing." TDC will perform Keller Wild West Fest, various church festivals, nursing and retirement facilities, May Fest in Fort Worth and Dance for the Planet in Dallas.
