Kathleen Steiner is the director of the Trinity Valley School of Ballet. After completing a B.F.A. in Dance at the University of Akron, OH, she danced professionally for 20 years with numerous companies including the Nevada Festival Ballet, the Ohio, Birmingham, Tyler, Denton, and Coshocton Ballet Companies, and she most recently retired from a soloist position with Ballet Concerto of Fort Worth. Mrs. Steiner has spent many years absorbing and gathering the best qualities of many different dance styles, which she passes on to the next generation of dancers. Students under Mrs. Steiner's tutelage have advanced to several prestigious company schools including the Joffrey Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, Ballet West of Utah, Ballet Concerto, and Ballet Magnificat. It is her sincerest prayer that all students, young and old, will find a fulfilling way to use dance as a form of worship in their lives. Beth Bennett, a graduate of the University of North Texas, she danced with the UNT Dance Department, Musical Theater Department, Tyler Civic Ballet/Tyler Junior College, Ballet Concerto, and Festival Ballet of Denton. Beth lives with her husband and three children in the OKC area. She will be contributing to the choreography for Trinity Dance Company and for special events during the season. Other teachers on staff this year include dancers form Trinity Dance Company and occasionally professional Guest Teachers. |
